Cooking Diary Episode 1

My mom suggested that Paneer butter masala would be a very good and interesting dish to start with especially due to its versatility. But, I was not in a mood to cook today, I guess that's what millennials feel. My father was surprisingly enthusiastic and instructed me through the whole way till the food was served. My father was really helpful, but I am a kinda fail and learn guy, so I didn't like my father feeding me all the instructions like I am a baby. I wanted to make my own mistakes and learn from them, maybe my parents don't want me to make mistakes, I don't know. They are really caring, I shouldn't complain. I am in love with coding, as you know computers are miraculous inventions that provide us a kitchen where we can experiment endlessly without worrying about the cost of food and waste. That's why I love it. I would like the cooking activity to have the same freedom and less fail cost, but that's not how the world works.

So, coming to the dish, rather than saying I made the dish I could say I helped my dad. To be honest I made a dish today just by reading a cookbook but didn't feel the excitement that I imagined I would get. Simply, we chopped vegetables and boiled them on a "satti" and used mixer to convert the slur into a sauce. After an hour eating lunch, my dad and I got back together by adding lots of butter to the pan, some aromatic leaves and finally the sauce and heated them for 5 minutes and took it down the stove. I guess the dish is ready. It is yet to be tasted and served for dinner with chapathi. Nothing more to say. Thanks for reading.
